QUEENS OF THE RING

WOMEN AGAINST MEN___________________________________________________________

Popular shows of physical contest between women and men (mixed boxing, mixed wrestling) became big business. The idea of many of such contests (usually clumsy made) is to show power, combative abilities and superiority of women over men, ludicrousness and worthlessness of their opponents. The most of such “brawls” are held in home interior where women demonstrate “technique” using a clog as a device: she holds his head by legs, throws him up on her shoulders and throws him down to the ground – there are many types of such moves. Sometimes mixed contests represent wrestling and boxing but again, women always defeat men. At first glance, such a show should be popular among women because it would establish their self confidence and support feminism ideas.

But there are no women at all who are buyers of such videocassettes and mixed fight watchers – almost all pseudo fights are organized for men’s amusement including mixed fights. There is a store in New York  “Sports video” which is divided into three almost equal sections: regular sports, female combat and porno (with female wrestlers too), at that the last one is separated by a fence with a gate with the sign: “adult only”. In fact, you would be unable to see women in the two last sections (but could see many men) and more than 50% cassettes are with mixed combat. Perhaps, some deep complexes of some men are satisfied by watching of the shame of other men who get defeated and beaten by beautiful women (maybe some sadomasochistic motivation take place here).

At the same time, quite high technique level characterizes mixed boxing and wrestling shows organized by the DWW club which has quite well-trained female wrestlers and boxers It’s not easy to classified these contests as totally real or totally imitative..

Zee: “Almost everything is sexual with men, they even admit it as if it is a badge of honor. Or I should say men can make anything in their mind sexual.”
